Finished the audiobook today. From my (very first!) review on Goodreads:
Coming to this book as a person involved in product development, I’m quite interested in how Apple does what it does – extremely elegant and usable products, at a low price point (compared to goods of similar design quality), in very high volumes. I found Inside Apple to be an enjoyable and useful read from that perspective.
The book has little about Apple’s product development process per se – just a few pages – so people interested in in the techie part of the process may be disappointed. But developing great products is not about process alone – it’s largely a function of having leadership that understands the importance of achieving great, rather than achieving adequate, and Inside Apple does a good job of showing how Steve Jobs and Apple’s leadership have made great happen.
